June 5 Remembrance Events at SPU

On the one-year anniversary of the tragic events at Seattle Pacific University, two events will be held on campus on Friday, June 5, 2015.

From 12:30-1:30 p.m., a special chapel service will be held in First Free Methodist Church, 3200 Third Avenue West and adjacent to campus. The SPU community and the public are invited to attend. University Chaplain Bo Lim will lead the service. The chapel service will be live streamed.

At 7:30 p.m. in First Free Methodist Church, the Music Department will host a special concert featuring Gabriel Fauré’s “Requiem” as a time of worship and reflection. Faculty, staff, and students will participate in the requiem.
